Network and Communications Engineering Career

 You will become an engineer capable of planning, designing, implementing and evaluating communication networks that support the needs of any organization entry level network engineer.


The volume of digital information that moves the world is increasing dramatically and is currently available to all areas of human development. Network connectivity and communications technologies are constantly evolving to meet this demand. In this context, the UPC engineering faculty offers the EPE Network and Communications Engineering degree, a complete study plan aimed at people with work experience or previous related studies; in order to train engineers competent in network planning, design, analysis and management, capable of meeting the demands of the modern communications market and leading network and communications projects.


The career develops the skills required by international accreditors, bringing students closer to modern technologies of virtualized operating systems, cloud services and programmability in networks that complement current connectivity solutions. It also encourages analytical skills, critical thinking, teamwork and innovation in the proposed solutions.


PROFILE OF THE NETWORK AND COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERING GRADUATE

At the end of the degree you will be able to lead network and communications projects, from planning and design to the implementation and operation of convergent communication networks. You will be able to integrate mobile technologies, security technologies, data center technologies, cloud computing technologies, IoT technologies and management platforms in convergent networks
