how wlan work

WLAN is an acronym of the English language which refers to Wireless Local Area Network , an expression that can be translated as Local Area Network Wireless . As the name points out, a WLAN is a local type network whose equipment does not need to be linked through cables to connect.
WLAN is a specific type of LAN : a computer network formed by units located in a geographic space of small dimensions. While the computers (computers) that are part of a LAN connect to each other or to a router with cables, in a WLAN the connection is made using radio frequency waves .

As they are wireless networks , WLANs usually allow users to have ample mobility, since they do not depend on cables or physical elements to remain on the network. The absence of cables also contributes to maintaining an order or an organization in the office or environment in question.

An example of WLAN is the wireless network that is installed in a home using WiFi technology . Suppose there is a computer in a bedroom, another computer in the dining room and a third laptop. All three computers have wireless network cards and are interconnected by a wireless access point (device known as WAP for its acronym in English). In this way, the parent who uses the dining room computer can send a picture to his son, who uses the bedroom computer. At the same time, the two can share files with whoever uses the laptop.
There are two main problems or weaknesses, let's say so, that it has a WLAN:
-Security. This is considered to be much more vulnerable than other networks, so it is necessary to take all possible measures to prevent anyone from accessing it. Hence, for example, what is encryption and the use of different keys and algorithms.
-Speed. In the same way, there is still much better WLAN in this regard. And it is considered that, at present, it has not yet managed to reach the speed that they do offer and have other types of local networks how wlan work.

Faced with these setbacks or weak points of the WLAN, we can highlight its most notable advantages, some of which you have already been able to intuit to some extent:
-In companies it gives the possibility that any employee can obtain information from any part of it from your position and immediately. One circumstance is that, without a doubt, it contributes both to facilitating your work and to what it is to significantly improve your productivity.
-Although it may involve a higher cost at first in many cases, in the long run it is a much more profitable investment.
-WLAN is installed really quickly and easily, so immediately it will be able to use it.

Components of a computer network-how they work

A network is a set of computers, computers or interconnected devices that allows information and resources to be exchanged from one to another, such as printers, hard drives, etc. Wifi networks that we all know are computer networks, but without cables. They can be twisted pair cable, UTP, optimal fiber, wireless communication or other means how does networking work.
In any case, the components that we find so that a computer network can be created are the following:
Transmitter:  creates a signal or request from the computer.
Encoder: encodes the signal to be transmitted through the cable. It can be a network card, which is incorporated into computers, and is responsible for converting the sent request into a format (bits) that can be transmitted. For this, a protocol, such as TCP / IP, is used. In addition, the network cards have a MAC (Media Access Control) address, which allows them to be clearly identified, so that the information reaches the appropriate receiver.
Line:  in the wired networks the transmission means will be the network cables, while in the wireless the radiofrequency or infrared waves. They carry the information received to the address of the device that has been indicated through the interface.
Decoder:  the device with which information or resources will be shared also has its own system to convert electrical signals into  types of casino bonuses data that can be processed by the computer. They are network adapters, or PCI. These are integrated in the motherboard and can operate at different speeds.
Receiver:  is the device that receives the signal transmitted by the transmitter converted into data that can be processed by the computer.
Although these are the basic elements, many networks do not directly connect the computer equipment to each other, but instead connect to a router, a switch or a network bridge , which are the ones that receive and send the signals to their respective receivers.
Computer networks have not always been optimally installed for the purposes desired by the user. If this is the case, it is convenient to make a study of the needs and go to a computer technician who is responsible for conducting the review.
Do you have a computer network installed in your home or office?

Highest paid technical professions

To connect your life with a technical profession is right. There are already enough economists and lawyers in the market. But there are probably the highest paid technical professions, which are much more profitable to choose than any other.

What a young man who has just graduated from school wants - the most natural desire is to be successful. So, for this, he needs to choose exactly the profession that will meet such requests as - the amount of payment, prestige, prerequisites for further development, proximity to the place of residence, etc. If this is a technical specialty, it means that the young man will strive to choose the highest paid technical profession. And his landmark is clear.

The most prestigious technical professions

Kudos is a public assessment of the significance of a profession, which can be made up of various factors. Moreover, this criterion can be very inconsistent and change quickly depending on the same inconsistency of fashion, or market fluctuations. As for remuneration, of course, everyone wants to earn money - the more the better.
Unfortunately, there is a certain stereotype that the highest paid technical professions are significantly inferior to their humanitarian competitors. However, the development of industry, the opening of new enterprises, allows us to say that the technical sphere, more and more, is winning back its positions and comes to the fore.
It is not surprising that choosing a technical profession, a young man wants to feel a certain confidence. Which should consist not only in the fact that he will choose the highest paid technical profession, that he will be guaranteed to be provided with work, but also in the fact that his chosen profession will be in increasing demand.
In addition, the place of future work may be another condition affecting the choice of a future profession. For example, not everyone wants to connect their lives with a profession that will force them to move from place to place, and possibly live in uncomfortable conditions. At the same time, even the highest paid technical professions, at times, cannot be elected, due to the fact that the applicant does not have the corresponding abilities in this field. Not every person is able to keep in his head - thousands of difficult-to-remember formulas, as well as painstakingly complex calculations. This requires a certain mentality and character, and this is strictly individual.

The most sought after technical professions

Among modern industries, the most extensive is the provision of services (sales, services, etc.). But more and more, the development of the industrial sector, highlights it. Which, in turn, makes technical professions more highly paid. In addition, do not forget about information technology. The specificity of high-tech industries is that their development, increasingly reduces human participation highest paying engineering jobs.
Automation of systems, on the one hand, requires the attention of a highly professional specialist who needs to be trained, providing them with the appropriate knowledge and skills, and on the other hand, it helps to reduce human participation in the production of something to a minimum.
However, the lack of qualified personnel raised the importance, necessity, and hence the remuneration of labor - not only technical specialists with higher education, but also graduates of secondary special educational institutions. Skilled workers capable of performing their duties using specialized knowledge are required in many areas of work.
For example, technical high-paying professions began to include not only engineers and specialists with higher education, but also those who received secondary vocational education and work as electric-gas welders, electricians, electricians, etc.
But the first place, among the highest paid technical professions, is occupied by information technology specialists. Especially in great demand is a specialty such as a programmer. Moreover, among all technical professions, this one actually takes first place in terms of wages. But the ability to write programs in various languages, as well as constantly monitor and respond to the slightest changes in the rapidly changing market of software technologies, requires serious knowledge and extensive practice. Moreover, the demand for this specialty among employers continues to grow steadily and has good prospects for the future. Which is not surprising, in view of the ever-increasing development of information technologies and their implementation in our daily lives.
Thus, the list of the highest paid technical professions includes, first of all: a programmer (writes and uses computer programs), a design engineer and a design engineer (they work in the construction industry, design and create a project for future construction), a technical engineer ( construction industry, specialist responsible for all technical documentation), process engineer, labor protection engineer (responsible for the safety of personnel working at the facility), etc.

Chemical Engineering salary

How much does a chemist earn?

Its growing labor demand, together with the large number of functions that chemical engineers can carry out and the high responsibility they assume in their work, have made this profession one of the best paid both inside and outside Spain. This being one of the reasons to study chemical engineering salary
This is so, always depending on the sector and the specific position held in the company or organization in question, the salary of chemical engineers can far exceed 40,000 euros gross per year .
The truth is that the salary of a chemical engineer is usually high compared to other engineering, which is still an excellent claim to study chemical engineering . In addition, as seniority and experience in the profession are gained, positions of greater responsibility and, consequently, higher salaries may also be eligible.
In fact, it is not surprising that a chemical engineer with accumulated experience of several years and a proven professional reputation easily exceeds 60,000 euros per year, always depending, of course, on the specific work you do and the company where you take it finished.

Chemical Engineering: inexperienced salary

As in any higher education class, recent graduates in the Chemical Engineering degree will, in principle, opt for salaries much lower than those who already have a background of several years of experience.
In this first professional stage, training development may be important, for example if a master's or postgraduate study has been taken as the university master's degree in chemical engineering at the University of Castilla la Mancha in Ciudad Real . In the first years , after graduation, it is normal for the salary to be somewhat smaller, say that around 1,200 to 1,500 euros per month , but as the engineer is consolidating and gaining experience, he can certainly aspire to better paid positions and / or demand salary increases according to their productivity.

Five engineering professions stand out in wage development

What do engineers really earn and how have wages increased? The Mediation Institute's review of the average salary for all professions with at least 10,000 employees includes 14 engineering professions. We took a look at them and saw that for five, wage growth was clearly higher than for the others.
The Mediation Institute has looked at the average salaries of 383 different professions in 2014 and 2017 (read the report here) . Those chosen by the Engineer are both pure engineering professions and professions where engineers are part of those who work, such as software developers and university lecturers what engineer makes the most money.
For the university engineering professions, the average salaries in 2014 were between SEK 33,100 (supervisor in construction, construction and mining) and SEK 38,100 (engineers and technicians in electrical engineering). In 2017, they had risen to SEK 36,100-39,800.
For the engineering profession that requires longer education, the average salary in 2014 was between SEK 40,300 (Software and systems developers and others) and SEK 44,600 (University and university lecturers). In 2017, they had risen to SEK 42,400-48,900.
But if you plot the wage trend in a diagram (see below) you can see that five professions had a clear faster rise:
  • System analysts, IT architects and others
  • Supervisor in construction, construction and mining
  • Engineers and technicians in construction and civil engineering
  • Operations managers construction, plant, mine, operational level
  • Other IT specialists
(see average salaries and change for all 14 professions in the table below)
Thus, wages have  risen most in IT as well as construction and civil engineering. By contrast, the increase in construction has occurred for supervisors and operations managers, not for those who have jobs classified as "civil engineers in construction and civil engineering".
Among the civil engineering professions there is the highest average salary among “Other civil engineers” - ie different fields than the largest. After that, the civil engineering profession in electrical engineering has the highest average salary, followed by construction and civil engineering as well as mechanical engineering.
Here is the whole table (average salary level 2014 and 2017 for 14 engineering professions with more than 10,000 employees)
The Mediation Institute has also produced statistics for professions with fewer than 10,000 employees, but which are distinguished in different ways.
One is a property manager who has the fifth highest rate of salary increase of all occupations surveyed: 6.6 per cent increase per year between 2014 and 2017, to an average salary of SEK 41,900 in 2017.
Of the 20 occupations with the highest average monthly salary in 2017, there are four occupations with an engineering connection:
  • Research and development managers, level 1 (overall, not activity-related work). Average salary: SEK 68,300.
  • IT managers, level 1. Average salary: SEK 64,300.
  • Managers in architectural and engineering activities, level 1. Average salary: SEK 60,500.
  • Property and management managers, level 1. Average salary: SEK 59,700.

The graduates of Engineering and Architecture have the best salaries

Taking a master's degree is not yet synonymous with having a good salary. Higher education protects from unemployment but not from precariousness. 26.8 percent of the graduate graduates surveyed declare receiving a salary that does not exceed 1,000 euros per month, after finishing their studies at two and a half years architecture engineering salary.
Of these, 8.8 percent charge less than 600 euros. These are data of the Observatory of Employability and University Employment (OEEU), a project of the Social Work "la Caixa", CRUE Spanish Universities and the UNESCO Chair of University Management and Policy of the Polytechnic of Madrid, which has made the second report of the Employability and employment barometer of university students in Spain.
The president of Crue Spanish Universities and rector of the University of Lleida, Roberto Fernández; the director of the Observatory of Employability and University Employment, Francisco Michavila; and the director of CaixaForum Madrid, Isabel Fuentes, have presented the second edition of the University Employability and Employment Barometer in Spain today at CaixaForum Madrid.
11.44 percent affirm that in their last job they had a scholarship, an internship training contract or that they were in an internship, test or apprenticeship period. In relation to salary, the highest percentage corresponds to those charged between 1,201 and 1,600 euros gross per month (18.49 percent), followed by those charged between 1,601 and 2,100 euros (18.41 percent), a 13.1 percent between 2,100 and 3,000, and four percent up to 4,000 euros.
By branches, the graduates who charge the most are those of Engineering and Architecture and the least those of Arts and Humanities
The report also reveals that the three most required skills in employment are: the ability to solve problems, adaptability to new situations and the ability to manage pressure. However, the least required are oral and written communication in other languages, the ability to work in an international context and mastery of the specific skills of the master.

Also, the overqualification is very high, reaching 30.88 percent of the total. By branches, in Arts and Humanities there is a greater overqualification. Health Sciences is the branch with the lowest overqualification and Science is the one with the most underqualification. 65.3 percent of graduates believe that their last job was totally related (41 percent) or closely related (24 percent) to the master's studies.

How much an engineer earns

The famous idea that engineers are needed in Argentina could be reversed if, future university students, knew the salaries paid in that profession.
A labor report reported how much an engineer should earn, either one with a low hierarchical position or a managerial position how much does a engineer make.
According to the report , prepared by Michael Page, an engineer who occupies the position of "Industrial Director" in the retail industry or mass consumption earns between $ 55 thousand and 70 thousand; Meanwhile, he receives between $ 55 thousand and 75 thousand, if he works in the agricultural or automotive industry. For their part, in the industrial or pharmaceutical segment, engineers receive between $ 60,000 and 80,000 gross per month.

Thus, according to the report, wages change when it comes to average charges , as is the case with a plant manager. In that position, salaries range between $ 40 thousand and 60 thousand, if it is the agricultural, automotive, industrial and retail industries. Different is the case of the pharmaceutical industry, where the salary range is between $ 45 thousand and 65 thousand.
On the other hand, when talking about a lower hierarchical position, such as being a production manager. The gross salaries of an engineer range from $ 30,000 to 45 for all market industries. However, when it comes to retail / mass consumption, salaries have a ceiling of $ 40,000.
According to the report, "currently, to consider a job change, a Plant Manager contemplates salary offers that exceed 20 to 30 percent of his current compensation, in addition to the benefits."
At the time of analyzing the hetareous ranges, the study indicates that “the age range is variable , but for the position of Industrial Directors the average maximum age is 55 years, as well as for the position of a Plant Manager, it is qualified from the age of 35 ”. In all cases, experience in the area is essential to occupy hierarchical positions.
